Are you passionate about delivering high-quality software and ensuring stable, reliable
releases? We are looking for a QA Engineer to take ownership of end-to-end quality across
our web applications, APIs, databases, mobile platforms, and ETL pipelines. This is a
hands-on role where you’ll define testing strategies, prevent regressions, and help deliver
flawless releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Planning: Define QA approach for web UI, APIs, databases, mobile,
and ETL workflows. Maintain test plans and acceptance criteria in Jira. - Manual Testing: Conduct exploratory testing for new features and edge cases. Run
release/regression checklists on staging before production. - Automation: Develop and maintain UI E2E tests (Playwright/Cypress), API tests,
and basic DB validation checks. - Bug Management: Write high-quality bug reports, triage with engineering, and verify
fixes. - Environment & Data: Maintain test data, validate migrations, and monitor ETL
accuracy. - Quality Gates: Define “Definition of Done” gates and track quality metrics like
escape rates and regression trends. - Collaboration: Work closely with engineering on acceptance criteria, sprint
planning, and release readiness.
Key Focus Areas
- Auth & Permissions: Route guarding and role-based access.
- Dashboard & Widgets: KPI accuracy, filters, and performance.
- Inventory/Products: CRUD operations validation and auditability.
- Loyalty Systems: Points calculations and membership logic.
- ETL Pipelines: Monitoring, error handling, and idempotency checks.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of QA/Test Engineering experience for web applications
- Strong test design and bug isolation skills
- Experience testing REST APIs and working with SQL
- Experience with automation frameworks: Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Jira
Preferred Qualification
- Experience with Next.js/React apps and Node-based APIs
- Experience validating ETL/data pipelines and reporting systems
