Job Description

Role Overview:

The Dispatching Agent is responsible for managing and coordinating service requests, dispatching technicians or agents to customer sites, and ensuring timely and efficient service delivery. You will act as the main point of contact for both clients and field agents, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate Dispatch Operations:

• Receive and process service requests from clients or internal teams.
• Schedule and dispatch technicians or agents to service locations based on priority, availability, and location.
• Monitor and track the status of dispatched agents to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  

Communication:

• Serve as the main point of contact between clients, field agents, and internal teams.
• Provide updates to clients on service progress and expected arrival times.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to dispatching.
  

Data Management:

• Maintain accurate records of dispatch requests, technician assignments, and service completion.
• Update and monitor dispatch logs to track performance and efficiency.
  

Problem Solving:

• Address and resolve scheduling conflicts, cancellations, and any operational issues that may arise.
• Ensure service disruptions are minimized by quickly adapting to changes.
  

Performance Monitoring:

• Track the performance and efficiency of dispatch operations.
• Report any issues or challenges to the supervisor or manager for further review.
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service, logistics, or dispatching (preferred).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using dispatch software or CRM systems.
• Knowledgeable about cars, navigation, and U.S. geography.
